Three further recommendations:

Turn left out of Green Fort, cross over the road by Tedi's and walk through the sanatorium entrance.
Turn right through the woodland and wander down to the beach and more importantly a beach bar, cheapest beer we found. This is as yet unspoilt and very casual.

Fiesta bar opposite Fiesta Beach hotel (between Helena and Majestic).

Filipopol for eating, looks like the average but well above, staff very good. Literally on the beach towards the middle, past the Condor opposite Palace hotel I think.

On the first corner on the left just before you get to the square in St. Vlas there's a good eating place. I think its called the Gerbera (someone correct me if I'm wrong). It doesn't look much from the outside but the food is well above average. It gets very busy, mostly with Bulgarians (which is a good sign) so it is not unusual to have to share a table.

Hi to all I have found a good eating place, its about 100 metres from the centre of sunny beach on the right hand side of the road . The restaraunt is called the Condor...very good food..alot of the bulgarians eat there.
