Just returned from a few days break in Greenfort, end of May. In noticed that the entire complex is need of a good lick of paint. More to the point,I am concerned about the (increasing) level of Management Fees and other fees in G.Fort. The current fee level is even higher than equivalent management fees in the UK and Ireland. Given that the cost of security, wage levels etc are much lower than in W. Europe, why should our fees be so high? Who is benefitting from this and more to the point why is there no transparency as to where these fees are allocated. Accordingly,I think that we really need to see the publication of annual accounts, which should be sent to all owners. Regarding "other fees", for example, I find it incredible that we have to pay an additional amount for a security card/access to our apartments. I also cannot understand why we have to pay for use of the tennis court. If we have to pay "extra" for the tennis court, why is the swimming pool free of charge? Also the nonsense of the sunbeds having to be paid for, has resulted in many owners hauling down their own sunbeds (in protest)from their apartments to circumvent paying this charge. Do Fort Noks not understand how basic customer service criteria works? Have they ever asked us what we want? Also, I note that satelite dishes have sprung up all over the place, despite Fort Noks's new rules banning this activity. I would be interested in hearing other owners' views on the above.
